Examples of Other Work

Here are four other examples of work of mine, which I have submitted to be marked for the attainment of my degree.
Two pieces of work are of two posters I created. Another piece of work is a video advert which I also created.
And the final piece of work which I have also created, is of a prototype Haptic website designed for the partially sighted.

The first example of work here, is a poster I created in Adobe Photoshop CS5 (saw5.jpg). This poster was designed in order to advertise the ‘Saw’ horror film.

The second example of work, is another poster I created, and I also used Adobe Photoshop CS5 for this creation too (celsius1.jpg). This poster was created to advertise and promote a brand of aftershave within a marketing campaign which I also created.

The third example of work is a video advert which was created (CelsiusAdvert.mov), to advertise a promote the previously mentioned aftershave marketing campaign, from the previous piece of work. I used Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 to create the advert.
The video advert which was created, was aimed at advertising the aftershave in a similar fashion to existing adverts – advertising in a professional way, similarly to other competitors adverts in the aftershave marketing field.

The final example of other work, is a haptic website prototype I created using Adobe Flash CS5 (DarrenRussellHaptic.swf). The website was created for people with a visual impairment, in particular; Cataracts. I created the website using the plug-in PowerCursor which was used via the previously mentioned program, Adobe Flash CS5.
The website will allow the user to type in an address they have chosen to travel too, and the website gives them directions on how to get there, and the different ‘haptic’ feedback defines what terrain and potentially dangerous surfaces they may encounter during their journey. This is the prototype of the website design.
