Here is an example of Synthesised Landscapes.
To create these systhesised Landscapes, I used the program Terragen.
In order to create these images in the program Terragen, I had to manipulate many options and features within the program.
I had to ‘Generate Terrain’ and ‘Canyonise’ in order to create hills/mountains.
I also had to make water apparent in some images, to give the effect of the ocean was present in the images. I also altered the cloud density and changed colour of the atmosphere – to give the effect of what time of day it was (from morning, to midday, to night). Also altered the strength of the sunlight, and the corona size to alter the strength and amount of sunlight present in the images.
As you can see, all the images have the theme of the portfolio throughout them, which is the theme of Nature and everyday life. These images are displaying the specific areas, untouched and unaltered; just in their natural states.
